I'm very proud of my final project. I think I did I really great job for the first time trying to make a drawing like this. There was a lot of little details in the picture and I believe that I did a great job at capturing all of the detail. I like all of the different tones of black from the lights to the drakes black there is. I think I was about to make my picture look a lot like the original picture.

This is another update for my MGK project. Today I completed drawing in the suit with the darkest pencil that I have. Since I finished this all I have to do is draw in the sign. Once I'm done with the sign all I have do is work on the background and then do little things like go through and erase highlights and things in the drawing.

This update for this project started darkening areas in the face and the suit that needed them the most. I also started working on the sign that he's holding and blocked out the letters. All I need to do is finish the suit and start the sign and do the background.

Today is my second up date for this project. So far on this drawing I completed most of the detail in the face. The only thing that I really need to do to the face is go back into it with a darker pencil to be able to hit the darks areas in the face. Also for the first time I made hair. I have ever worked on hair and i think that I did it really well and I like how the highlights in the hair turned out.

For my second project I decided make a pencil drawing. The person that deiced to make is a rapper that goes by the name of MGK (Machine Gun Kelly). The reason that deiced to make his person is because a lot of the music that he creates is every quince type of music. Also a lot of the picture that he takes are fun and creative and figured that it would be fun to draw that.

I finished my first project for the year. I think that I did good with the branches but I don't think that I did that well with the bird but for the first time making one I think I did well. I want to make better painting with more detail. I'm proud of how the painting turned out but I think I could do better.

This painting is a quick and simple painting. The reason that I say that is because I felt like was a rusty and I'm trying to get back in the routine of painting once again. I'm started shaping the bird and getting an idea where it's going to go. Then the branches and the color and the shading that I'm going to do with them. I'm hoping that I can finish this painting pretty quick. 

Current Project

This is a sketch of the first project that I will be doing this year. It's a painting with acrylic paint. The painting is a raven on a tree while it's night time. It's pretty much the shadow of the bird from the light of the moon. The process that I'm doing with this to finish it is to work hard and try to make good process every time I get a chance to work on it. I'm going to do make best so that it turns out pretty good.

All About me 

From the beginning of freshman year i have taken just about every possible art class.  I have taken from the most basic class, art and design and then from the most advanced art portfolio. I'm one of those kids that doesn't really have a style yet or materials that I really enjoy using. I can do anything from drawing with pencil to painting and even being able to sculpt many things from clay.  I'm still in the process of trying to figure out what is my style. Then a little bit about me is that I like art of course, I work out, enjoy listening to music and want to be part of the medical field when I get older.

Who is Andy Goldsworthy? 

Use youtube as a tool to search and find information on artist, Andy Goldsworthy. Then use the information you find to answer the questions below. 

1.) . Using nature, whiling using nature as a whole. He using things to make sculptures but at the same time adding holes and making them abstract sculptures. 

2.) Colored flowers, icicles, leaves, mud, pinecones, snow, stone, twigs, and thorns

3.) I think that the purpose of doing that is so that when he decided that he wants things to go back into nature as they began. 

4.) He likes to make them in nature so that people want to go outside and see it. So with that people are getting out of traditional art building and going into nature to see the things that he creates. 

5.) I would say both a builder and sculptor because he takes things that he finds in nature and builds things out of them but at the same time he's a sculptor because he creates things that he imagines.
