Artists I Admire

Artists I Admire
There are many things that I have learned from the past couple years in my art classes. At the same time I have been inspired by many artists but, the ones that I picked inspired me the most out of any artists that I have ever reached. I like the different techniques and different but, amazing ways that they paint and I would like to base my art projects on some of the ways that I paint.

Salvador Dali
The reason that I enjoy and admire Dali painting is because he doesn’t care what people think about them.  He has learned that from his paintings he could express himself and his inner thoughts. That’s what on planning of doing with my paintings, being able to express myself with my paintings. I want to create art that would matter to me and be able to tell people about me from the different things that I would paint.

John William Hill
I picked John William Hill because at the time, 1850’s, he was a very popular artist for his advanced landscape paintings. He was able to capture many difficult and advanced details for the landscape that he would paint. I want to try to paint landscape that most people aren’t use to seeing around here in the U.S. I want to be able to capture different cultures and terrains that other people live in. I want to be able to be very detailed too, so I could make people feel like they’re in the painting.
George Bellows
George Bellow is known as an American realist painter. He would paint things from his life or childhood that he witnessed while he lived in urban New York City. I want to be able to show people of historical events or experiences that I had in my life.  I want to be able to show the hardships that I had to through in order for me to get where I am now. I would also want to practice realism painting to make people feel and see what actually happened that day.

Sara Paloma
Sara makes vases, but not like normal ones that you will usually see at normal store. She adds a little twist to them and makes the fat and short with a narrow neck and each vase that she makes are different from one other. That’s how I want to make vases and each one is different. I want to be able to make vases and from the start not sure how its going to look so that each vase is quince. I don’t want any one my vases that I make to be totally different then the one before.

Yoichiro Kamei
Kamel makes very different types of sculptures that are made out of clay. He makes like 3D models type things with just clay. Most of them are like cubes and prisms. I want to try new things and challenge myself with the things that I make things that most people wouldn’t think are made or would be able to be made out of clay. I want to show that with skill, time, and trying new things that anything that you put your mind to it, anything is possible.

Roxanne Jackson
Jackson is a very dark sculpture that likes doing things that most people think are weird and scary. For example she would make heads of animals, dead animals, and even animals struggling to survive. I think it would be cool to make models of animals or animal parts that will be able to tell a story by the things that I sculpt. For example like a beached whale or an animal that couldn’t reach food that is needed. I want to be able to show every day life for an animal and the hardships that animals go through everyday.
