Elephant Painting

Elephant Painting

I am currently creating a painting of a elephant, the picture that I chose to paint was one of it really close with a lot of detail in the picture. I'm going to try to capture all of those details of the picture in my painting.

I don't think that there really is a meaning in my painting. I would say the only reason that I pick to do this is to get the feeling of painting again because its been a while since I have painted. I just need to get use to painting fast and using different colors in my painting and practice on detailing the best I can. I want to practice this, so that when I actually start painting my actually painting they will be filled with many different colors and a lot of detail.

At the time there isn't much I have so far with this picture. Some of the steps that I have took with my painting were trying to get the right colors to use to make look as close as I could to the picture that I am using. The things I have done in the painting are the outline of the elephant and get sorta of a idea of where things are going to go in my painting.

I figured that I would use one of the most common and most thing that I enjoy to use and I'm comfortable with. The things that I'm using are acrylic paints and canvas. I wanted to focus on using these things, is because I like using and I feel really comfortable with when it comes to using those types of materials.

I would say that for my goals for this piece of art work that I'm doing is to get use to the type of painting form that I'm using on this painting. I want to focus on actually trying to capture the actual picture in my painting. I want to give people the feeling of how realistic the picture is. I want to add a ton of detail in the picture to make it as real as I can make it.
